This feature is non-standard and is not on a standards track. Do not use it on production sites facing the Web: it will not work for every user. There may also be large incompatibilities between implementations and the behavior may change in the future.

The getCanGoForward() method of the HTMLIFrameElement is used to indicate whether it's possible to go forward in the navigation history of the browser <iframe>.

Syntax

instanceOfHTMLIframeElement.getCanGoForward()
.then(function(result) { ... });

Returns

A Promise that resolves with a boolean that equals true if the history can be navigated forward or false if not.

Parameters

None.

Browser compatibility

Supported since Firefox 47, in chrome code only. Promise-based syntax only since Firefox 65.

Unlikely ever to be supported in other browsers.
